After reading all the opinions and comments professional and let a few weeks ago I jumped on it with the purpose kit 18-200 VR. I am not a professional, even if I go in a professional way, but I seriously my picture. My question is mainly the family and grandchildren and the landscape. I’m constantly experimenting with the settings and never check icon in the Standard mode button on my D50, so the car seemed a natural upgrade for me.
The range of the menu system can be incredible, if only out of the box, which will be shot striking images, notably the “P” (program) modes. However, once past the standard features, you can use one tenth the capacity of this camera without reading the manual for the camera in front of customers. I give the quality of textbooks as a B-. Their statements are very good, but the limits of absurdity and the organization may be forced to go through the manual just to the vernacular understanding of the function can find.
The LCD screen is a hit. I am reluctant to adjust the brightness of “0″ because I’m afraid the photos to ignore, but a slight increase in brightness.
Battery life was for me less than 1000 photos were received. More like 500 or something. I do not know whether this is due to the lens of virtual reality, because I often used my Sigma. 500 is still far away and I’m happy.
The weight of the device is uncomfortable for some, but not for me. My hands are big and filled the room and the “balance” how it feels in your hands in different directions in which it feels to me as a balanced exercise 18V cordless. Although it is cumbersome weight evenly distributed and can be activated and manipulated without effort, at least not for me.
In general, I can honestly say that I love. Can not much better than that!
