Canon EOS 50D with EF-S 18-200mm 15.1MP Digital SLR Camera f/3.5-5.6 IS Standard Zoom Lens Reviews.

Great Camera – Excellent Pictures

The ISO sensitivity of the image sensor to light. If the light is less and less, you can increase the ISO to avoid using the flash. This is very important if you want to shoot with natural light, sunset or sunrise, when the light is beautiful. Another example is when shooting a bride and groom during the first dance without using the flash to capture the entire book. The disadvantage of increasing the ISO is that the images are often crystallized, such as raising the ISO.

The Canon 40D has allowed me to ISO 1600 and subsequently extended to 3200. When I started the catch is easy to make. However, I often have to spend around 1600 and, of course, I was forced to use ISO 3200. The Nikon D300, which can lead to ISO 3200, so if you need a little ‘over ISO 1600, with the Nikon D300. So if it is sufficient to ISO 2000, you can use this configuration, instead of using ISO 3200. I know that Nikon no problems, the performance at high ISO sensitivity that its digital SLR, the Nikon D300 for destruction.

The Canon 50D now comes with a standard range of ISO 100-3200 as the Nikon D300. But the concern I had was that the significant increase in the MP pointed out that more noise (grain) at high ISO. The member of the sound even more you tend to a higher ISO. I would have preferred a smaller number of MP and better performance at high ISO sensitivity. However, Canon’s engineers have really surpassed themselves this time. The performance of the Canon 50D high ISO is as good as the Nikon D300, but has more than 3MP. Hence the fact that Canon is the use of micro lenses, without interruption of the image sensor. This seems to me the opportunity to view the pixel capture increased.

The Canon 50D may be extended to ISO 6400 (H1) and 12800 (H2). The Nikon D300 can be extended to 6400. However, the Nikon D300, you can from 3200 to H0.3 and H0.7 to H1.0 before then that is 6400. This is more flexible than having to go to 6400, because in general, you should try a lower ISO speed.

I have much experience with Canon SLRs dating back to A-1, Nikon and some, like the D300. I’ve been a fan of the compensation due to my investment in Canon EF lenses, and yes, sooner or later, always seems to dance with excellent facilities.
