Canon EOS 50D with EF-S 17-85mm 15.1MP Digital SLR Camera f/4-5.6 Image Stabilized USM SLR Lens Reviews.

Happy with my purchase

Before the end of the year, I’ve been thinking about my Canon 30D on the Canon 50D to enjoy, among others, just outside the tax law. and the financing package offered by Circuit City. But my financial goals are not the reason I write my financial goals 50D.But Canon are not the reason I’m writing about Canon 50D.

Because there are many articles and papers on the latest Canon EOS camera, I thought I noticed that some aspects of the function of the camera I found useful. Note: I had the car less than 24 hours, but since this is my third Canon digital SLR cameras (in addition to the Canon Powershot G9), the features of this new model are not strange to me.

So here is a printed list of my “first” features that I share. How do I get more camera time to play, I will try to share with others.

Quick Control screen: Even though I have not much, but I think I liked the Quick Control screen of the camera. This function gives the camera settings on the LCD. You can select and change the settings while the display on the monitor. This can speed up some changes to the exposure to see at the top of the device, or in the menu and change settings there.

Highlight alert: I think all EOS digital cameras have a feature called Highlight a report. Once activated, the alarm system (see photo in playback) highlighted areas of the image are selected burned. Some people say the camera in a blink of an eye “function. I used this feature all the time for the 30D, but you have the INFO button to get here, the selected image and the reproduction is almost miniature scale which prevents you a good estimate of these is extinguished. Well, this problem has been corrected in the 50D. Now you place your calls highlighted, while the image is displayed in full screen mode. Totally fascinating. 133 pages.

Method of marking the individual C1 and C2: Similar to the custom menu feature that has been discussed above, this feature allows a range of camera settings to save (except the mode menus, etc.) as presets and each time record is just by moving the position C1 and C2 in the camera mode (186 pages). Can I use my Canon G9 and it’s great. I read that the 40D has three instead of only 2 of these standard positions. Canon has a position on the 50D and replaced by what they call the Creative Auto mode. I have not played well, so I can not say whether it’s worth to get rid of one of the posts. But I am sure that when the camera preset as desired, such positions C1 and C2 can be very useful. You can, for example, have a definite position to take pictures inside and outside a particular location for shooting indoors. Maybe I write more on this later in another blog entry.

Well, it’s my job five characteristics that I so far. I had the Live View function on the list, but I played a little ‘with him enough flavor. And cumbersome and difficult to use than the G9, which Live View use all the time.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
