GREAT choice Canon Digital Rebel XSi for my first DSLR
If you do a search on reviews of this camera is the first time digital SLR buyers decide on this camera. I am one of them. After years of point and shoot camera to use the thinking of the ease of implementation and its use is worthwhile, I came to the realization that I was not happy with most of the photos I took. That preserved now, but almost none of them worth blowing up and printing. Mediocre flash, zoom, megapixels, and so limited my images.
I love all the features of this camera for the price, especially the special ISO button on top and the menu system is easy to decipher, and 3-inch LCD screen. It is also the move to SD memory cards that are apparently easier to use than CF. It’s so easy for the card, turn it into a USB SD card reader, load the images and return the card to the camera, instead of playing with the opening of the small door of the chamber and cable to the PC.
The XSi has almost all functions of the 40D at a fraction of the cost. It’s features are certainly far above the XTi and the total value of the upgrade. The 3-inch LCD screen is ideal for Live View shooting or reviewing. The buttons are placed and is very easy to navigate.
The body itself is not as heavy as the 40D, but does not feel cheap and fragile. It is a big step in comparison with my Canon S3 IS, however, love and everything the camera is too much power.
Rebel XSI is a high performance camera with a sensor and that can really make use of high-level lenses. Versatile and compact, the XSI camera is more than enough for almost everyone.
