Wonderful professional camera

I am an advanced amateur who has used the 5D Mark I in the last 2.5 years. I found the image, but hated the approach. Each project insisted on a subject that is moving at walking speed range, the 5D is not in his approach. The second function is not in the picture. Under conditions of low light, the 5D is even worse. Sometimes the focus of the resistance with the objective of saliva or a distance that the 5D focus hunting – even if the goal is to address at home – was guaranteed to losing power.

Full Frame, like the previous models 1Ds Mark II, a full frame sensor. This means 2 things, not just an objective of 17 millimeters and 14 millimeters another real wide, but the pixels of the sensor is larger and more sophisticated, more color and less grain.

Beautiful accessories for the camera. I love my WFT-E2A. I use my M3 in 1D and it works very well in the 1Ds Mark II, also. It is a great way to get the camera to be remotely controlled or the files to a remote computer for processing and, as I always push you.

What kind of projects do not speak? Drawings of people, children, basketball, football, band, parades, candidate for the street, the street life, travel, nature or at home – and I quote almost everything except the still life and landscape photos. In general, any decision that has nothing to do with a tripod, is a situation 1Ds’ approach is much better than the 5D.

Finally, the 1Ds Mark III is far stronger than the 5D – the controls for the sound of the shutter. I love this device. My only wish is that they are the same size as the 5D, because the stock camera does not count towards your waist. This camera is brand new, like most new electronics and a few bugs, and I guess most can be solved by updating the firmware or Canon will make small adjustments needed when it was sent for repair.

I sold my 5D intensify. The photos the weather is good, is not like my winters in Alaska, and even some summer days, the camera performs great. Battery life is great. I use his long life, have all my cameras on them, but was surprised it lasted as long as the battery with the new and even better when the last review.

A great camera with improved movie mode

I used to fund a 5D and enjoy a few years and found that a full-frame camera, simply exceptional. Like many others, I waited impatiently for the 5D Mark II, and pre-ordered one. After using a couple of weeks I am pleased to announce that this is a good update of the 5D.

If you are looking for this camera, what have you heard of the “black spot” problem. Unless you print photos the size of several meters to several centimeters, to see them. Sure, I downloaded a version of the firmware, if available, but in the meantime, I have never had any problems with the real world.

The size and the controls are very similar to the 5D – at ease very quickly. The viewfinder is excellent – bigger, brighter, and a welcome addition. There are many “under the skin” improvements, the largest 21.1 megapixels. Flexibility, much more focused, but be prepared for some big RAW file! Upgrading processor (DIGIC 4) keep things moving along at a good pace. I can not comment on the capture of high-definition video, because I flirt with her at the moment and have virtually no experience with video grapher. But in the perspective of lifelong learning. Capturing video was the icing on the cake for me – bought for the photos.

Disappointments are few and far between, like the fact that the battery is a different design so it can not be confused with the 5D. Presumably it has a longer life, but the pattern of trade would be good to keep the costs in full. We also regularly receive the 40D and Rebel (become IR) and thus the exchange capacity, the better.

If you are currently working with a crop sensor camera, you will be amazed what they have a complete picture will do for you (even if they are willing to spend money in some good glass – when the fever of the lens L and LL me again!). Note that the original 5D is still available, and very beautiful (and some robberies organisms used). The original is a fantastic car, and it is worth considering if your budget is limited.

One final point: the RAW files are not compatible with CS3. However, recently updated in the House of Light (2.2) solves the problem. No need to go to CS4 just for that.

Great camera for travel

This was my first full-frame camera. Before I owned and operated a 40D, 30D and Rebel XTi. I am a wedding photographer and sports in the first place, so I have the 5D Mark II can test these conditions.

For basketball I’ve used with AI Servo, center focus point, but entered the custom settings and support for those aspects.Worked like a dream, focusing quickly and accurately that my 40D was. Although not the FPS is not ideal for the sport, if you approach from the start to block, even photographs can reach Sports Amazing. The fact that I was able to shoot at ISO 4000 and are sensitive to noise was unbelievable. The law also well balanced white photographs in the field is normally what happens on my 40D.

My first marriage, all I could say was wow all day. I made the photographs available to the light that never before seen. The new screen also made it very easy for one thing when you are not targeting fixed. When can I change my 40D and 5D2, because I knew I really had the screen of the 40D horribly broken to me before when I thought there was a large screen. Apparently I was wrong! 920,000 pixels is definitely the way forward on this LCD. At first I shot with the object of my approach and concentrate more and more cornered. I made a sort of combination of aperture priority and manual for each program.

Video, but I’m not a video / designated person by nature, prefer Stills, I tried the video a bit. For Christmas, I have some short clips of my cousin and I are very satisfied with their appearance. It is very well organized for high-definition video of a child, and an impact on an impressive opening credits big blur background. The only drawback is that the files are huge. My Clip 1 minutes is more than 300 MB, but that’s what happens for the filming in 1080!

This camera uses batteries really hold a charge for a while. Me and my battery in the handle of the wedding, and after two batteries for more than 500 shots were still around 72% charge left on each of them. I would have shot 3 times higher than that amount and still charge the battery. New information on the screen of the battery is very smart because you can see what the serial number of the battery is charged and is therefore much easier to follow.

This camera is a gem and I recommend it, if possible, within the budget.

I bought and reviewed at the beginning of the Nikon D3 and decided to keep when I bought D3x. The reason is that I continued to shoot in low light, D3, outdoor, etc. The ability to shoot with the higher ISO settings, high refresh rate is what convinced me that I could trade I do not know that Results in detail D3X was almost convinced that more megapixels is after a loss not to kill them if they are smaller copies, photographs, but shows online on this line, it would be wasteful.

However, if you’re like me, is a desire to further improve the professional image with extreme clarity, detail, contrast, impressive in a word, you should try to show D3x. I doubt that my decision to keep the D3 in a zoo, but recently discovered that the two houses came to hand. I have the Nikon 200mm f / 2 lens D3x licenses for distance vision and near, and had 24mm to 70mm zoom on the Nikon D3. I managed about 150 shots in each room and I found what I liked, because the composition of my time, not because the camera are both great.

I found a picture to see pieces of 100% D3x unless both houses of RAW, the results are just incredible. I could literally see the separate tabs of a camel and an elephant, lion and even a few good shots from distance, convinced me that if I as a photographer who is largely D3x Nikon D3 and lenses. I love the construction of both the D3 and D3x, powerful sound for me. I was dragged to the two rooms with the above objectives, with 2 extra lenses for 7 hours at the zoo in Denver.

I have one hours or so throughout the day of rest stops every day. I would do it and I to 60 in a few months. I’m glad we kept two homes by the problem of slow for me it’s worth and love of the photographs I took both, but the resolution would D3X choice if I had to choose between her and D3. My D5000 was delivered last night while at work. The woman opened the box just enough to remove the battery and load for me. After 12 hours of grueling work shifts that I had forgotten my new toy.

After many dogs drool when I got home I realized the box on the kitchen D5000. My heart began to stink. I tried unsuccessfully to my car to drive. My new toy here! Undo all with care. I followed the quick start guide, and is ready in no time.

I am a man with big hands needed. The D5000 felt good in my hands. Not too heavy, too light. The black coating is done with a little rough to. Very nice. My right thumb is conveniently located thumb, while I found a house in the shutter. With strict control of D5000 were able to complete my wrist and point the camera to be expressed in a variety of positions. The camera felt good in the hand. I realized that this beauty can drag all day and not the syndrome of the wrist of the feared.

I was looking for subjects to photograph. Nights of work for everyone except the dog slept. I bought my first digital SLR (a Nikon D60), last November, I was intrigued by the announcement of the D5000. When purchasing my D60, the D90 is planned, but after personally, I chose the D60 form factor are much smaller, lighter and less expensive. Camera I was very happy with the D60, despite their poor performance, while slightly better than my old point-and-shoot has been fantastic.

Since the D5000 and the same sensor as the D90 sensor, but in a mild climate, is relatively small, I decided to upgrade. And I must say I am very happy with the D5000.

The D5000 shoot excellent photos, especially in low light and lighting difficult. The D5000 is the first camera I owned could take a picture of the night and record (and in some cases) that the eye sees. This is in automatic mode (without flash), no tripod with an average speed (F3.5-F5.6) Nikon VR. Impressive.

I came back and took photos of that night with the same settings for this Nikon lens 16-85 VR and the results are much better in my D5000 vs. D60. The difference between the D5000 and D60 is almost as dramatic light (below) as the difference between my D60 and the point and shoot camera. I have published several pictures to illustrate.

Using the Live View mode you can shoot the elusive, as the angles in a crowd or in a corner looking down, or make a self portrait. This does not work and the application of Nikon is the hinge on the bottom of the camera, so if you use a tripod, the options are limited.

However, the excellent image quality, especially in low light, and has contributed to the much smaller areas that can improve to compensate. Therefore, the D5000 is my vote of 5 stars.

The first thing I did was morning and found some landscape photos with my D40 and D5000. In the coming days, I have dozens of pictures of various modifications to the D5000 test. I’m not my former VR 18-55mm zoom and the new 35 mm f / 1,8.

Immediately it was clear that the image quality of the D5000 is much higher than the D40. First, no matter if you want high res photos shown on the big screen, and the details that add texture to the landscape. Second, I do not know what magical transformation Nikon has launched the D5000, but uses light with a little more finesse and predictability. Note: The D-Lighting Everything is generally desirable, it is possible that the sacrifice of contrast that you want to situations of intense light.

The only problem is that I lived many paintings of wine with a strong iron ocher yellow, suggesting that the auto white balance in amber was happening. After playing with the settings for white balance by the way WB, ADL and running, I’m back in the room before the discovery that the dress seconds. But yesterday I came to the fact that the sun as you “direct” WB instead of “auto white balance”, the problem disappears and the colors are perfect.

A little internet search shows that the unpredictable behavior of the automatic white balance is a known issue in many digital devices. In essence, the camera tries to guess what the light conditions will apply, but most experts recommend to manually select and / or adjusting the white balance. Now, I do not think my Nikon D40 or other goods, that was the problem, but maybe there were other problems are related. For example, D40 is often a slight blue cast to the shadow that was not there. A brief D60 prisoners was worse in this regard.

Like the D40 before, the manual recommends D5000 automatic white balance for most situations, but you would want on this question. This is a bit disappointing, because the smart menu choices Nikon automated for many is part of the excitement of the D5000, but it seems that the problem of automatic white balance is generally reflex.

I finally got my D700 and have for about one weeks, so now I wanted some first impressions about the advantages and disadvantages of views experienced amateur.

I am very pleased with the picture of the Convention. For this camera, I had the D100 and happy with him, but he was always a little embarrassing, because my Nikon lenses are converted from different formats of the CCD. Now I am back to 35 mm SLR I have the impression that the events much more in my old N90s. My favorite target, the 85 millimeter 1.4 seconds incredibly beautiful images with very shallow depth. I’m in heaven.

The elements I’ve used so far is quite impressive. ISO in normal quality is excellent. I do not see digital photos with this level of detail period. But what really impressed me was the standard ISO 6400. I played with a series of digital cameras for years and I do not think I’ve ever seen an aircraft that can produce the kind of image in low light the D700 is not. The sound is so weak that they are on earth.

I used a SanDisk 16GB Extreme and very impressed with the write speed of the camera. RAW photo quality, I have 800 photos on the memory card and transfer in the team is excellent, given the size of the file. The shutter speed is excellent. I have mostly portraits, but then I found Candids fired several shots in succession and the D700 works very well. I find it strange that, in terms of much faster and the D3, but I have not much faster can imagine.

I recommend this device if you can afford, as most other cars are less expensive. If you want high quality photos and pictures in low light, with all products, the camera and provides a value for each piece of the cost. I hope this review has helped in some way. Thanks for reading.
